The LCD1519L Widescreen Touch Monitor is a wide-screen display that is easier to use and incorporate into more environments than traditional desktop touchmonitors. The wide screen allows for more content on the screen compared to standard aspect ratio displays.

Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) touchscreen technology is widely used in applications that demand durability and high image quality such as information directories, museum displays, training systems, gaming and vending machines, and more. SAW technology uses an all-glass panel with no films or active layers, giving it a higher clarity and durability than other touchscreen types. SAW type touchscreens respond to finger or soft-rubber tipped stylus pens. The SAW type screen may not perform well in extremely dirty or dusty environments.

Touchscreens work with all mouse-driven software using software driver mouse emulation

Touchscreens work alone or with keyboard and mouse

Perform the following mouse functions: Left-Click, Double-Click, Drag-and-Drop, and Right-Click

The touchscreen emulates standard mouse functions, and touching the screen is the same as clicking your mouse at that point on the screen. This allows the touchscreen to work with standard mouse-driven software such as Microsoft Windows, multimedia presentations and Web pages, and much more. Custom touchscreen applications can be developed in the same way as mouse-driven programs.
