The touch monitors that we offer for DVD systems combine a flat panel TFT monitor with a DVD compatible touch responsive screen. They are an easy way to add touch-screen interaction to a touchscreen compatible DVD system. The DVD compatible monitors are similar to our standard touchscreen monitors, but they also include S-Video and RCA video inputs and a Touch-To-DVD adapter, allowing them to work with certain touchscreen compatible DVD players. These DVD players have the cable connection for the touchscreen and an operating system that is able to communicate with the touchscreen. A standard DVD player does not have the capability to interface with our touchscreens. At this time the montiors will work with the Pioneer V5000 and Pioneer V8000 DVD players. The LCDSA151V-5RS-DVD-B monitor uses a dependable and reliable 5-Wire Resistive touchscreen technology. It is durable, scratch-resistant, and not affected by moisture, grease, and other contaminants that may come in contact with the screen.
