The mountable DVD touch monitors that we offer are the perfect solution for integrating a video display into a cabinet, kiosk, or other enclosure. They are an easy way to add touch-screen interaction to a touchscreen compatible DVD system. The kiosk-ready monitor is an excellent display solution for specialized mounting applications and for applications requiring a 'public-proof' display. The 3/4" bezel mounts from the rear and secures from the rear. All monitor controls and buttons are located on the rear of the monitor, so no controls are exposed to the user. The DVD compatible monitors are similar to our standard touchscreen monitors, but they also include S-Video and RCA video inputs and a Touch-To-DVD adapter, allowing them to work with certain touchscreen compatible DVD players. These DVD players have the cable connection for the touchscreen and an operating system that is able to communicate with the touchscreen. A standard DVD player does not have the capability to interface with our touchscreens. At this time the montiors will work with the Pioneer V5000 and Pioneer V8000 DVD players. The LCDSA151V-SAW-DVD-KR monitor uses advanced Surface Acoustic Wave touchscreen technology. SAW technology uses an all-glass panel with no films or active layers, giving it a higher clarity and durability than other touchscreen types. The SAW type screen may not perform well in extremely dirty or dusty environments.
